"Nena paints in a haunted house. And she has a passion for blue goddesses. Painting them, that is - life-size feminine figures the color of the sea on a perfect Curaçao day. Maybe because Nena Sanchez spent 25 years away from her beloved island, she also has a passion for the dazzling tapestry of suny yellows, deep purples and hibiscus reds she missed the most about her childhood home."
